Coverage

Do we cover you?

Engineers on site across Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding Staffordshire area. Entris, being cloud software, runs anywhere in the UK. Those are two genuinely different answers, so this page gives both rather than blurring them into one map.

Based in Stoke-on-Trent · On site across Staffordshire

Stoke-on-Trent

One city,six towns.

Stoke-on-Trent is a federation of six towns rather than a city with a single centre, which is the thing firms from outside consistently get wrong when they quote for it. We work across all six, and we know how long it actually takes to get between them.

Hanley

The city centre — offices, retail and leisure

Burslem

The Mother Town

Tunstall

Northernmost of the six

Stoke

Home of the railway station and civic quarter

Fenton

The one that gets forgotten

Longton

Southernmost, the old pottery quarter

Beyond the city

And the area around it.

Separate towns and boroughs we cover as a matter of course, not as an exception.

Newcastle-under-Lyme

A separate borough immediately west of the city, and a short drive from anywhere in it.

Kidsgrove

North of Tunstall, on the Cheshire border.

Trentham

South of the city, past Longton.

Wider Staffordshire

Ask us. Much of the county is comfortably reachable — we would rather tell you yes or no than leave you guessing.

Why it matters

Local isn't a sloganon this kind of job.

The second visit is the real test

Anyone will drive an hour to do the install. What decides whether a system stays useful is who comes back for the small stuff — a reader that has drifted, a camera that needs re-aiming after the hedge grew. Short drives make that a phone call rather than a negotiation.

We survey before we price

Access control and CCTV both turn on details you can only see in person. Being nearby is what makes surveying every job affordable, rather than something reserved for the large ones.

Except where it genuinely doesn't

Entris is cloud software with no engineer to send, so distance is irrelevant to it. We say so plainly rather than implying our hardware coverage is national.

Two different answers

What we install locally, and what runs anywhere.

The two halves of the business have genuinely different reach. Being straight about that is more convincing than implying national coverage we don't have.

On site

Access control & CCTV

Surveyed, installed, configured and supported in person — which is why it is limited to where we can reasonably drive.

UK-wide

Entris visitor management

Hosted software: no engineer to send, no server to install. Organisations anywhere in the UK run it, including sites we have never physically visited.

Questions

The ones we actually get asked.

Including the awkward ones about travel and response times.

Do you cover my area?

If you are in Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Kidsgrove or the surrounding Staffordshire area, yes. If you are further out, ask — the honest answer depends on the size of the job, because a full multi-door install justifies a longer drive in a way that a single-door callout does not. We will tell you straight either way rather than quote for something we cannot support properly afterwards.

Do you charge extra for travel?

Not within our normal coverage area — it is priced into the job. If you are outside it and we agree to take the work, any travel cost is stated in the quote before you commit, never added afterwards.

How quickly can you get to site?

We do not publish a response-time guarantee, because one that ignores what has actually broken is worth nothing. What being local genuinely buys you is that a return visit is a short drive rather than a scheduling exercise — which matters far more for the small things than for the emergencies.

Can you support a system in one town and another elsewhere?

Within our coverage area, yes — multi-site is normal, and Paxton10 is designed to administer several sites from one interface. If your sites are spread across the country, the honest answer is that the hardware side is better served by someone local to each one. Entris has no such limit: it is cloud software and runs anywhere in the UK.

Is Entris limited to Staffordshire too?

No. Entris is our own cloud visitor management platform, so there is no engineer to send and no server to install. Organisations anywhere in the UK run it, including sites we have never physically visited. Only the hardware side — access control and CCTV — is geographically limited.

Not sure?

Just ask.

If you are near the edge of the area, tell us where you are and what you need. If we can reach you and do the job properly, we will. If we can’t, we’ll say so rather than waste your time.
