What we are
Two disciplines,deliberately kept together.
Syntari is a Stoke-on-Trent technology company with a narrow focus: the physical hardware that controls and watches a building, and the software that runs alongside it. We keep the range small so that everything in it is something we do properly.

Paxton access control and CCTV, surveyed, fitted, configured and handed over by the people who will still be answering the phone about it a year later. Local work, done locally — we cover Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding area, and we don't pretend to be national.

In the cloud
We build
Entris is our own cloud visitor management platform — not a white-labelled reseller deal, not somebody else's product with our logo on it. We write it, we host it, and we support it. Because it's cloud software there's no engineer to send, so it runs for organisations anywhere in the UK.

Why it matters
The gap between the installerand the platform.
The usual arrangement is that one company fits your doors and a different company’s software runs your sign-in book. When those two things disagree, each one is very confident the problem belongs to the other.
We took the other route: build the software ourselves, and keep the engineers who install the hardware in the same building as the people who write it. It makes us unusual, and it occasionally makes us slower to add a feature — but there is nobody to pass the problem to, which turns out to be the more useful property.

- Entris gets built by people who spend their week on real sites, which is why it's designed around evacuation roll calls and busy receptions rather than around a feature grid.

- If you want cameras, doors and visitor records working as one system, that can be designed in from the start instead of bolted together afterwards.
How we work
Four things we'll hold to.
Every one of these is written so you could hold us to it. That's the only kind worth putting on a website.
The survey decides the system, not the stockroom
We aren't tied to a single manufacturer, so the recommendation comes from what your building actually needs rather than from what we happen to have on a shelf. Sometimes that means telling you the cheaper option is the right one.
The people who fit it are the people who support it
There's no handoff to a call centre that has never seen your site. When something needs looking at, you're talking to someone who knows how it was wired because they wired it.
We say when something isn't a good idea
If a job is outside what we can do properly, or the thing you've asked for won't achieve what you want, we'll say so. A system that disappoints you eighteen months from now is worse for us than a quote we didn't win.
Nothing quoted that hasn't been looked at
Access control and CCTV both live or die on details you can only see in person — sight lines, cable routes, what the door frame is actually made of. We survey before we price.

Our engineers cover Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding Staffordshire area — close enough to be on your site quickly, both for the install and for whatever comes after it. Entris, being cloud software, has no such limit.
